Walc gives directions based on what you see.

There's an app for that, but you probably missed it.
Too many apps exist on both the Android and iOS market that it's hard to keep up with them all. Therefore, The Daily News puts together a weekly list of six apps that are worth checking out.
This week the list features apps that will keep you entertained, help you find food, guide you when you're lost and even help improve your online shopping.
Here are the six apps you should consider downloading this week:

Walc

"Go north" can be such a misleading direction, especially when you are in an unknown location. Walc gets rid of the traditional directions and guides users by pointing out what they see close by. For example, if you were trying to find your friend's apartment who lives next to a McDonald's, the app would say something like, "keep walking toward the McDonald's and your destination is to the right."
Walc is available on both iOS and Android smartphones.
