uilding on Coca-Cola’s global campaign in which people could personalize their Coke bottles and cans, Tel Aviv based creative agency Gefen Team created these super-cool interactive billboards for Coca-Cola Israel.
How it works:
Consumers were invited to enter their names (just once) into a location based smartphone app. The app identified the consumers as they approached the billboard and transmitted their names to it. Using geo-fence technology, whenever a consumer approached the billboard, they received a message notifying them that their name was up there!
Results:
The company claims the app received over 100,000 downloads and ranked no.1 on the Israeli app store for the entire campaign period.
